Adapters...
An adapter is the piece of cable which runs from the end of the antenna cable to the phone itself, these are required to improve your phone's reception.

Types of adapters...
There are four categories of adapters:
Card Payments...

This type of adapter plugs straight into the antenna port on the back of the phone, and provides a cable connection to the antenna. Examples of handets & modems that have take a plug in adapter:

| Velcro Adapters... | |

This adapter is two-piece, one piece is a velcro pad which sticks onto the back of the phone over the internal antenna. The second piece is the adapter itself, which has velcro over the inductive plate, so it can be easily removed, and has a lead so it can be connected to an external antenna. There must be a 2x1 cm space on the back of the phone to accomodate this adapter, positioned over the phones internal antenna which is usually (but not always) at the top of the phone. Slides & Flip phones complicate things so avoid them if you can. On some handsets you will have to experiment to find the best position for this adapter. |

This adapter is a larger variant of the standard Velcro adapter. It is designed to be used on larger Smartphones, such as the Blackberry handsets and Apple iPhone, or on the larger USB modems which are supplied in the UK. |

The phone features a 2 megapixel camera, full colour screen, mp3 player, Bluetooth, a comfortable keypad and much more. This is recommended for the average day-to-day phone user.
The handset is £FREE on contract, £79.99 on PAYG, or £124.99 SIM free.Nokia 1200 - to suit the budget phone user
The 1200 is an inexpensive durable handset which is designed to work in all conditions. It has an excellent battery life of about two weeks, and the keypad is completely dust proof.
This handset is £9.99 on PAYG, or £29.99 SIM free.

HTC Armetis
This newer HTC phone, currently sold as the XDA Orbit and T-Mobile MDA Compact III, is unsupported, we may be able to offer something in the future, but at the moment it is a handset to avoid.HTC Universal
This phone and its variants are not supported, the antenna socket is known to be faulty and causes the phone to crash, and in some cases causes permanent damage to the motherboard of the phone. This phone was sold under many different names, some of the most popular versions were: XDA Exec, T-Mobile Pro, i-Mate JasJar.USB Dongle Modems
We cannot supply any adapters for the smaller USB Dongle Modems which Vodafone began selling at the start of 2008. If possible please try to get the Huawei USB Modem instead.
Data Card adapters...
Data cards became very popular as they were the simplest way to connect to the Internet while on the move before USB modems. Unfortunately because the card is kept inside the card slot on the laptop it is very hard to get a usable reception without an antenna.

USB Modems
The Large Velcro adapter will fit the Huawei E220 which is supplied by Vodafone and T-Mobile in the UK (Pictured on the left).

Ericsson FCTs
We can supply adapters for the Ericsson G32/G36 and W25 models, as well as the older F251/F221/ F151 units. We have had good experiences with Ericsson model FCTs and recommend these to our customers.
Other FCTs
There are many other brands of FCT such as Telular, DIgicom, Possio, and Wavecom. If you have an FCT which is not listed then please call us, we will probably be able to find you a solution to your reception problems.
